The last two matches before the quarter-final stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar will be held today.

Today there will be a match between Morocco and Spain and Portugal and Switzerland. After these two matches, the last 16 matches will be over and the quarter final stage will be completed.

The match between Morocco, the winner of Group F, and Spain, the runner-up of Group E, will start at 9:00 PM at the Education City Stadium.

Morocco, which is undefeated in reaching the knockout stage after 36 years, defeated Belgium and Canada while becoming group winners and drew with Croatia. Morocco's goal is to reach the quarterfinals by shocking Spain.

Then again, when Spain crushed Costa Rica, they drew with Germany and lost to Japan.

Essentially, the match between Gathering H victor Portugal and Gathering G second place Switzerland will begin at 1:30 PM at Luces Arena. This is the second match between two European groups in the last 16. Prior, two European groups, France and Poland, contended, in which France has arrived at the quarterfinals by winning.

The victors of both the matches played today will confront each other in the quarterfinals.

Up until this point, the Netherlands, Argentina, France, Britain, Croatia and Brazil have come to the last eight, or at least, the quarterfinals.
